Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about ClientFiles
Do my clients need an account?
No. Your clients access files through a simple link — no signup, no login, no friction.
Can clients upload files to me?
No. ClientFiles is designed for one-way delivery — you send files to clients. This keeps portals clean and secure.
What happens when a portal expires?
Expired portals become inaccessible to clients. Your files remain stored and you can reactivate the portal anytime.
Is this a replacement for Google Drive?
No. ClientFiles is purpose-built for client delivery, not general file storage. Use it alongside your existing tools.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel your Pro subscription anytime from your dashboard. You'll retain access until the end of your billing period.
What are the storage limits?
Free accounts have limited storage for testing. Pro accounts get generous storage for active client work. Limits are designed for delivery, not archival.
What file types can I upload?
Most common file types are supported — PDFs, images, videos, archives, documents. If your client can download it, you can upload it.
How do I protect sensitive files?
Pro users can add password protection to portals. Only people with the password can access the files.
